Website capture works while you are logged into chatgpt.com. Make sure your ChatGPT tab is open and active. If ChatGPT updates its buttons or page layout, GEO Lens automatically keeps your progress safe and switches to assisted mode. You do not need to restart your browser.
If you want to run queries directly without keeping ChatGPT open, switch to API mode at the top of the extension. Paste your personal OpenAI API key (starts with sk-...). Your key stays encrypted on your computer, goes straight to OpenAI, and is never shared with us.
Capturing search queries and exporting data is completely free. Premium prompt templates require an active plan. Card payments renew automatically every month. Kenya M-Pesa is renewed manually each month per payment rules. You can manage or cancel your plan anytime under the Plans tab in the extension.
Everything you capture stays stored on your computer. You can set your history to automatically clear after 7, 14, or 30 days, or click 'Purge All Local Data' in Settings to wipe everything immediately.
GEO Lens is built for Google Chrome, Brave, Microsoft Edge, and Mozilla Firefox. You can install and update it directly from the official Chrome Web Store and Firefox Add-ons store.
